Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using our website or booking car rental services ("Services") provided by Three Pyramids Car Rental ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing the website or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

1. Service Description

We provide various car rental services in Cairo and other specified areas in Egypt, subject to fleet availability and the conditions outlined herein and in the rental agreement.

2. Booking and Rental Requirements

  • Renters must meet the minimum legal age requirement for driving and renting a vehicle in Egypt (typically 21 or 25 years depending on the car category, please confirm).
  • A valid driver's license, recognized for use in Egypt, must be presented (an International Driving Permit may be required for non-residents).
  • A valid ID card or passport must be presented.
  • A valid and accepted payment method (e.g., a credit card in the main renter's name for security deposit purposes) must be provided.
  • We reserve the right to refuse rental to any person who does not meet our requirements.

3. Payment and Fees

  • Rental rates will be specified upon booking and may vary based on vehicle type, rental duration, and seasonality.
  • A refundable security deposit may be required upon vehicle pickup to cover potential damages or additional charges.
  • The renter is responsible for all rental charges, fuel costs, tolls, any traffic fines or violations incurred during the rental period, and any agreed-upon additional fees (e.g., additional driver, child seat).
  • The cancellation policy stated during the booking process or in the rental agreement applies. Cancellation fees may be incurred.

4. Vehicle Use

  • The rented vehicle must be used in accordance with Egyptian laws and in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Using the vehicle for racing, speed tests, off-road driving (unless otherwise agreed for SUVs), any illegal activity, or transporting hazardous materials is prohibited.
  • Driving the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden.
  • The vehicle must only be driven by the main renter or any authorized additional driver registered in the rental agreement.
  • The renter is responsible for returning the vehicle in the condition it was received (subject to normal wear and tear), and with the agreed-upon fuel level (unless otherwise specified).
  • Any accidents, breakdowns, or damage to the vehicle must be reported immediately.

5. Insurance and Liability

  • Basic mandatory insurance according to Egyptian law is provided. An excess (deductible) may apply in case of an accident caused by the renter's fault.
  • Additional insurance options may be available to reduce the excess or cover other aspects. Please inquire about available options.
  • The renter is liable for any damage or loss to the vehicle up to the specified excess amount, unless the damage results from gross negligence or breach of these Terms.
  • We are not responsible for any personal belongings left, lost, or damaged inside the vehicle.

6. Website Use

  • You agree not to use the website for any unlawful purpose or any purpose prohibited by these Terms.
  • All content on the website, including text, logos, images, and trademarks, is our property or the property of our licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
  • We do not warrant that the website will be error-free, virus-free, or uninterrupted.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Cairo.

8. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Modified terms will become effective immediately upon posting on the website. Your continued use of the website or Service after amendments are posted constitutes your acceptance of them.
